Golf Course Superintendent The Oaks Club

The Oaks Club is seeking a highly motivated team leader with a drive for superior playing surface production, attention to detail, and a view for continual improvement.

The Eagle Course Superintendent is responsible for supporting the Director of Agronomy with the daily operation and enhancement of a wall to wall Paspalum 18 hole golf course and practice facilities.

This position has the following responsibilities;

• Daily maintenance of the Eagle Golf Course to the highest standards.
• Mentoring and educating an Assistant Superintendent.
• Managing a team of 20 operators and technicians.
• Overseeing and evaluating the nutrient and plant protectant programs.
• Providing input toward the budgetary processes.
• Training and safety management of the Eagle team.
• Involvement in the planning of a full course renovation.

• An associates and/or bachelor’s degree in Turf Management or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Golf Course Maintenance.
• Current State Pesticide Applicators License or successfully completed within 90 days of employment.
