SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is the first line supervision of the activities and resources required to maintain the golf course to predetermined standards.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s degree required and a minimum of three years related experience: or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have NC Pesticide license.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises Golf Course Technicians in their respective area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Must be aware of surroundings with an understanding of a golf environment. Must have the ability to see and react to the surroundings including errant golf balls and must understand and follow proper golf etiquette while completing tasks.
