“What is a memorable moment or success story from your career that highlights the impact of your work as a superintendent?"
My biggest “Moment of Success” was attaining CGCS status! It was a tough six-part, 6 hour exam and you had to pass all of it. Some folks play this down, and requirements have changed a bit, but to me it is like when a lawyer passes the bar, or any career professional attains their profession’s highest status.
Then you had to maintain it by acquiring points each year attending classes and going to National and Local meetings. Education is such a big part of anyone’s career and life! There are many ways to do this in today’s world of modern communication. I continue today to take educational webinars on-line and in person.
You can’t get enough education!
