Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club, one of Northern Virginia’s premier golf destinations, is seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Technician to join our team. Designed by Gary Player and set in the rolling countryside of Leesburg, VA, our course offers a spectacular setting for golfers and an exceptional workplace for golf industry professionals.

The Equipment Technician is responsible for assisting in the management and execution of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all golf course equipment. This role reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and peak performance to maintain superior course conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics and repairs on gas, diesel, and electric turf maintenance equipment
Assist in implementing a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule
Conduct reel grinding, blade sharpening, and height-of-cut adjustments to ensure optimal turf performance
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts usage, and labor
Assist with equipment inventory and procurement of parts and shop supplies
Support the training of operators on safe and proper use of equipment
Perform on-course equipment checks to verify operational efficiency
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with Superintendent and team members regarding equipment needs and priorities

Qualifications

2–3+ years of experience in turf equipment repair and maintenance preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Experience with reel grinding and small engine repair
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to adapt and learn new equipment technologies
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
