Job Description Summary:
This is entry-level work in the area of recreation services in the Department of Parks and Recreation at Anita C. Leight Estuary Center. An incumbent in this classification assists and reports to the Recreation Specialist IV and will be responsible for developing and implementing programs designed to increase the public’s environmental awareness of the ecological and scientific aspects of the park. They may also be asked to organize and promote programs throughout the County. An employee in this classification performs administrative, research, and other support work for a department, agency, or office. Actual duties vary with assignment but are diverse in nature. The employee receives general supervision. The ideal incumbent must have flexible hours throughout the week including weekends.
The working hours for this position will be Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
