The successful candidate will have an outstanding drive to help create and facilitate agronomic programs that exceed expectations. This person will be able to manage the operation with little oversight, have solid critical thinking/problem solving attributes, and thrive taking on multiple responsibilities at once. This person will have a passion for performing at a high level as well as enjoy continual improvement. The candidate will strive to excite, lead, and improve everyone around them, helping foster a strong workplace culture.
Primary playing surfaces include Tif-tuff fairways, tees, approaches, and roughs, while greens have been grassed with Tif-eagle.
The Club will primarily be a shoulder season club overseeding the golf course in October for a November opening. Club then will remain open until Mid June, then close till September.
Duties will include
- Help promote and engage Club Officials and members about our department and goals
- Lead a Team of 35-40 individuals including Equipment manager, Techs, Assistants, and general staff.
- Collaborate with Head Superintendent on all agronomic programs, water management, and budgetary implementation/goals.
- Aid in shaping long-term capital projects, equipment purchases, and further development of our Team.
- Help in recruitment and building Team culture.

Minimum 2 years as an assistant superintendent.
Associates degree or higher in turf related program or certificate with a bachelors level degree
