River Downs Golf Course in Finksburg Md is in the process of changing to new ownership. Applications are being accepted for the head Superintendent position. River Downs is an 18-Hole, Arthur Hills designed, 6700 yard course with Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens. The property spans 155 acres; with 3 acres of both greens and tees, 21 acres of fairways and rainbird irrigation. The course conditions have somewhat diminished the past few years, but overall have huge potential. Beginning this year, substantial capital improvements will be coming to the course to improve conditions and playability. The right candidate will need a hands-on ideology and the foresight necessary to implement changes to improve the course.
