Oak Hill Golf Club is a private golf facility in Hunterdon County NJ. We are seeking an
experienced Golf Course Superintendent to manage all facets of our golf course and
property maintenance. This is a full-time, year-round position offering stability at the
position as the departing superintendent has been with us for 17 seasons and we are
looking for his long-term replacement.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Requirements:
5 years of golf course management experience required with progressing responsibilities.
B. S. or Associate Degree in Agronomy / Horticulture (or 2 Year Turfgrass Certificate
equivalent)
Accepting Current / Former superintendents as well as 1st Assistant’s as candidates for
the position
GCSAA Member preferred
Knowledge of local, federal, DEP, and state laws and regulations affecting management of
the golf course is a must.
Candidates must have a current NJ pesticide applicators license or the ability to obtain one
within 6 months
Must have strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.
Must be highly organized, motivated, detail oriented and have exceptional communication
/ interpersonal skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with Greens Chair/committee/members with
regards to course maintenance on a daily/monthly/yearly basis
Train staff on equipment usage/maintenance as well as on course etiquette while players
are on course
Develop and adhere to maintenance schedules
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
SALARY: $90k-$110k package
